Welp, we had to leave Butte and the folk festival but hey, at least we got to visit and even camp at the Lady of the Rockies.

This lady is a large statue overlooking Butte and is dedicated to all women and mothers. It was a really beautiful view but unfortunately the low lieing clowds started to give us a light mist and we feared that we were in for a cold night. Luckily someone associated with the monument opened up the basement storage room of a building on sight and we slept nice and warm down there in the dust and with a little mouse friend.
Day two was fairly uneventful although we did visit a cool old mine cabin and a pipe that was gushing water from seemingly know where.

There was nothing else particularly of note for the rest of the way into Anacanda. It was a nice section of trail but fairly deserted due to a lot of people taking the Anacanda cutoff. Luckily I was with Toolman and Frito as we saw no CDT hikers for the entire 95 mile section.
